Your comments are spot on. The entire corporate control of the prescription drug areas of healthcare are ineffective, cumbersome, and downright dangerous at times. As a retired business executive and owner of businesses with hundreds of employees I have been confused by this area of the American Healthcare space for over 35 years. And there’s never been an effective system for taking cash payments. Over the years I could be part of teams or lead them regarding health and drug payments and plans. If anything I always felt we let our workers down in our decisions at times. I’ve kidded for years that it will probably be possible to colonize Mars than to fix healthcare, drug policy, and payment-payers confusion.
